Jim Wilson is a senior exploration and development geologist with more than 35 years of E&P experience. This was gained at a major oil company, a service company, and by consulting. He has explored and developed natural gas and oil reservoirs in deltaic and deepwater clastics and carbonates. In addition he has worked for more than 25,000 hours at the wellsite. He is well versed in integrated reservoir and enhanced oil recovery studies and reserves calculations. He is proficient in use of Petra, Petraseis, Petrel, and has used Geographix and Geoframe.

Play development in western Greenland; Deep Wilcox prospect in Southwest Louisiana (2-D seismic and well data); Regional play evaluation in Burgos Basin for bid round; Depositional modeling and prospect generation in offshore Surinam (2-D seismic and well data); Deep lead generation,Mustang Island, GOM (3-D seismic and well data)); prospect/lead evaluation and generation of several prospects and leads beneath King Ranch acreage, South Texas (3-D seismic and well data); Prospect evaluation in Denver Basin foothills.
RESERVOIR CHARACTERISATION & RESERVES EVALUATION
Reservoir mapping and assessment in 1400-well LL-03 Field, Maracaibo Basin, Venezuela, for EOR using sequence stratigraphy with well logs, core (described, tied to well logs, sampled for palynomorphs, coccoliths and foraminifera) and 2-D seismic; Reservoir mapping in southern Mexico for EOR using well data, existing biostratigraphy and 2-D seismic; Reserves assessment for several reservoirs in Bombay High, India, San Jorge Basin, Argentina and in Burgos Basin, Mexico; Cretaceous reservoir mapping and evaluation in Mississippi (well and production data); Evaluation of regional hydrocarbon and coal reserves potential in Indiana sector of Illinois Basin (well and Indiana Geological Survey data); Reservoir evaluations in Cañadon Seco, Cañadon León, Bella Vista fields - San Jorge Basin, Argentina (well data and 3-D seismic).
